Icelandic healthcare among the best in the world
The quality of Icelandic healthcare scores very high in OECD’s – Health at a Glance 2009. Be it treatment of coronary arrest or cerebral hemorrhage, or life expectancy of diagnosed breast cancer patients, Iceland rates top of the list.
This comes to no surprise to local and international health care specialists that have actively been pursuing healthcare related projects in Iceland for the past few semesters. One of which is Prima Care, where plans are to set up a state of the art, completely sustainable, hip- and knee replacement center.
